Had a lovely stay at Walter Raleigh at the weekend. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely stunning the nicest I have had dining out in awhile. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side but it just gives us an excuse to come back and visit Youghal again. Highly recommended the hotel. Such good value for money.

After we checked in, we had an unexpected complementary tea and scone. It was a lovely welcoming gesture from the hotel. The following morning, there was an excellent selection of food for breakfast. And throughout our stay, the staff were both cheery and helpful.

Excellent in everyway! Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, food was delicious with good portions and artistically presented even, view was beautiful, and so quiet we could leave our windows open. We booked last minute and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Don't hesitate and grab a room, you'll be glad to fall asleep to the sounds of the waves.

We had lunch in the main restaurant yesterday. The food and the service was excellent. Its a great sign when they take the time to cook fresh vegetables. I had the best carrots I've had in years. We were in a rush and the waiter brought us our desert very quickly. A beautiful meal was had by us all.
